A Yankee Farewell...

This cake was made for a memorial service for the New York Yankees biggest fan. I put words that described him on the pennants surrounding the cake. It is chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and vanilla cake with raspberry filling.

With this cake I was told I could decorate it however I liked...Those are always the ones that take the longest to decide on a design and are the most fun to make! I had seen a similar design on cakecentral.com that I wanted to try. This was my take on it. It was fun as usual!  Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling.

Such a fun theme for a 2 yr old! Loved it! Hope it was a great day!! The top tier is chocolate cake with pistachio filling, and the bottom tier is vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling.
