Rocky Mountain Cheerleaders!!
This cake was ordered for the Rocky Mountain Cheerleaders. It was for a dinner that was the night before they took off for State Cheerleading. I have been looking forward to this cake since I got the order. I was given free reign to do what I wanted, and to have it be a cheerleading cake...SO MUCH FUN! The top 3 tiers are chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling, and the bottom tier is vanilla cake with strawberries and cream filling. It is frosted in buttercream with fondant and modeling chocolate decorations. The pom-pom on the top is made from fondant and royal icing. Good luck at state girls!!

Plane fun!
I think airplanes have been the most challenging carved cakes to make for me so far. They are really odd shaped (not as much room for cake, because the body is long and narrow), and the structure is more complicated. This is the second plane I've ever done, and I was really happy with how it turned out. It is a chocolate cake with German chocolate filling. I hope it was a great birthday and I hope he was surprised! :)

New York Yankee Baby
Carrot cake with cream cheese filling. It was made for the family that ordered the Yankee Farewell Cake. They are the biggest Yankee fans I have ever met! :) I hope it was a fun party! Congrats to the To-Be-New-Mom!!

Brittney
This bride was awesome! She was so laid back and fun to meet. She ordered a vanilla cake with caramel filling. It is frosted with buttercream and decorated with sugar sparkles, fondant, modeling chocolate, and stenciled with royal icing. The flowers are fondant (and actually placed on the bottom corner, but I didn't want to put holes in the cake until I knew for sure where they wanted them). Their reception looked beautiful and fun, just like the bride. I brought my daughter with me to hold the doors on this delivery. My MacKelle loves coming to help deliver the cakes...I think she is planning her own happily ever after! Congratulations to the new couple!

Shayla
This cake was initially made for a very good friend for her birthday. I loved the design and wanted to try it a little bigger for another event. So, there are 2 sizes of basically the same cake. One is chocolate with chocolate and german chocolate filling and the other is vanilla cake with lemon filling. Happy Birthday Shayla!!

Baseball Birthday
This was for my 2 yr old boy. He LOVES balls, all kinds! He climbed in the bouncy ball bin at Walmart the other day. I kinda had to throw this together because we changed the day we were going to celebrate his birthday, but I still thought it was cute. It was chocolate cake with gooey caramel filling! I had to bring the left overs over to my neighbor so I wouldn't eat it all. I LOVE caramel! Happy Birthday to my baby!! They grow too quick! :)
