Cute as a Button

I made 6 dozen of these cuties for the Quilt Guild in Rexburg. I love the cupcake wrappers. So fun! They are chocolate cupcakes with buttercream icing and fondant and modeling chocolate flowers.

This is a coconut cake with coconut cream filling. It is covered in fondant and decorated with royal icing. The monogram letters are made from gumpaste. Their florist provided the fresh flowers. Congrats to the newlyweds! Everything looked SO beautiful!

This is a fun John Deere tractor grooms cake. It is vanilla cake with cookies and cream filling. It is decorated in modeling chocolate and fondant. The couple is made from fondant, and the wheels are cereal treats covered in fondant.

Baylee's Wedding

So, my camera broke on Saturday and I'm so sad because I didn't get a good picture of this cake. I had to use my cell phone and it wasn't very bright in the room. This cake was for Bailee's wedding. She ordered my first zebra cake a couple years ago. Now she got married and had THE CUTEST wedding reception! I can't tell you how cute is was! She ordered this zebra wedding cake (a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling), which TOTALLY fit her reception-black, zebra, and pink! SO CUTE! Congratulations!

This cake was for a friend's mom who was turning 82 years old. She was very specific about what she wanted for her mom. The quilt on her lap is patterned after several that she made for her family out of cumber-buns! She owned a formal attire shop. I love to hear the stories that go with each cake and the person it is for. I hope it was a fantastic evening!

This is probably my most requested cake. It is SO fun! This zebra cake is vanilla cake with vanilla mousse filling for the bottom tier, and for the top, red velvet cake with vanilla mousse filling. It is decorated in fondant and modeling chocolate.

This cake is for an eight year old's after-baptism gathering. It is a chocolate cake with a chocolate ganache filling. The girl is made of fondant, and the font out of cereal treats, fondant, and poured sugar.
