Sugar High

So, I REALLY LOVE sugar...like I'm an eat-dinner-to-get-to-dessert kind of person. I thought I would share one of my favorite recipes with you. I got it from a friend who is an AMAZING cook and only make it when I can share so I don't eat the whole pan myself and get sick ;)

Tiffany's Caramel Brownies

Brownie:
1 Cup butter
1/2 cup cocoa
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 3/4 flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking pdr.

Melt butter and combine with cocoa, sugar, vanilla and eggs. Mix well.  Then add flour, salt, and baking powder.Mix until combined.  Bake in a jelly roll pan at 350 for 20-25 min.

Caramel:
1 cup butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
Combine in saucepan and boil for 5 min. while stirring. Pour on baked brownies. Let cool 30 min.

Melt 1 package of chocolate chips and spread on caramel layer. Let cool completely before cutting...enjoy.
