Pretty First Birthday Cake

This cake was for a first birthday. The top tier is a 4 inch removable smash cake for the birthday girl. It is decorated in fondant with a hand painted 2nd tier. It is a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting.  This cake is a 3 tier version of the "Brooke" cake.

Another pretty damask pattern! This cake was HUGE with the bottom tier 16 in. by 6 in. high! It was hard to move to get a good picture because of how heavy it was (and I forgot to take pics at the reception). It is decorated with fondant and stenciled with royal icing. The bow is gumpaste and the broach is gumpaste with sugar jewels. It was a beautiful reception and an even more beautiful bride! Congrats to the new couple!

If could re-do my wedding cake, this is the one I want. I LOVE this cake! It was designed by the bride (Who has great taste btw! Ü) It is decorated with fondant and stenciled (with a custom made stencil) in royal icing.  It is a vanilla cake with chocolate mousse, chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, vanilla cake with german chocolate and ganache filling, and chocolate cake with ganache filling. YUM! She also ordered a grooms cake, which I will post soon.  Here are a couple reception pics I snapped on my way out after setting up the cake! So pretty!

This bride was awesome! She was so laid back and fun to meet. She ordered a vanilla cake with caramel filling. It is frosted with buttercream and decorated with sugar sparkles, fondant, modeling chocolate, and stenciled with royal icing. The flowers are fondant (and actually placed on the bottom corner, but I didn't want to put holes in the cake until I knew for sure where they wanted them). Their reception looked beautiful and fun, just like the bride. I brought my daughter with me to hold the doors on this delivery. My MacKelle loves coming to help deliver the cakes...I think she is planning her own happily ever after! Congratulations to the new couple!

It is decorated in fondant and modeling chocolate with royal icing snowflakes and pale pink edible pearls. It is kind of hard to see in the picture, but there is also edible glitter for the snow on the cake tops. The top tier is a smash cake for the birthday girl.

The bride wanted round cakes, with pillars and figurines.

This is the top tier. The figurines are made out of fondant.

The second and third tiers have black fondant bows with bright pink flowers springing out of them. This second tier is fondant covered with basket-weave on half.

The bottom tier has a quilted look with edible pearls and fondant flowers.
